The LWWF honors Lisa Elaine Woods Washington, who left us far too soon. The intention was to create an organization that would encompass and serve who Lisa was as well as her passions. One was playing tennis, which she started as an adult. She encouraged anyone to pick up a racquet and learn the game.
The Green Ball Tennis Classic
The 2015 Green Ball Tennis Class is a non-sanctioned tournament and does not require a USTA membership to participate.
The event director and tournament committee reserves the right to combine or cancel any division because of insufficient entries. The director may refuse a participant’s entry for any reason. All decisions from the tournament committee and event director are final.
LWWF supports the memory and passion of Lisa Woods Washington. Her untimely death has sparked an opportunity to pay tribute to a person with admirable qualities. Her legacy will live on through the work of LWWF in her honor.
To promote and develop the growth of youth tennis and scholastic achievement within the community.

Congratulations to The Howard School on receiving a $5,000 scholarship from the Lisa Woods Washington Foundation to educate kids with learning disabilities.
